Looking back to ACC 2017
2017 was a year of transformations of legendary proportions for ACC!
The conference started on a high note with the Keynote from Guy Kawasaki, who gave a ten-item summary of the lessons he learned from his experience building brands like Apple, from which telcos and ICT companies can begin their respective journeys into digital transformation.
After the incredibly insightful Keynote session, delegates shifted gears and dove straight into business networking. The Exhibit was formally opened with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, also with Kawasaki, who was joined by a handful of execs from ACC 2017 Event Partners.
Enabled by the Meeting Scheduler, a desktop portal and mobile app that allowed delegates to set Bilateral Meetings with partners, clients, and other collaborators attending the ACC 2017, close to 2,000 meetings were held at the three-day conference.
Just as the networking continued on the next couple of days, so did the learning! A total of ten Workshops took place at this year’s ACC, each of which zeroed in on a specific facet of the Business Theme, “Reinventing Customer Experience in the Digital Age.”
Beyond business, a trademark of the ACC is the social functions. The Dinner Events, each preceded by a cocktail hour, as well as the Nightcap on the last night of the conference, allowed the delegates to let loose and enjoy the company of their work partners in a more casual, friendly setting.
Other ACC staples were the Golf Tournament, held on the second official conference day, and the Social Activities on the last. The Social Activities treated the participating delegates to an Island Adventure, a gastronomic tour, a journey through Cebu’s rich history, and a relaxing down time at the spa.
Just as a lot of our partners and delegates are looking forward to coming back to Cebu, we are equally excited to give you an excellent ACC 2018.
